Finding the right Real Estate Investing show for you
A kitchen vent hood catches fire, and the repair comes to about $1,500. In How to Read a Loss Run Before You Buy a Property, Ironclad Underwriting Podcast compares that with a fire that empties a building. A loss run is the claims history a seller's insurer produces, and it tells a buyer what the listing won't. The best real estate investing podcasts work like this: they test the promise of rental income against roofs, loan terms and paperwork.
The audience for podcasts is broad. Edison Research's March 2026 Infinite Dial put monthly podcast consumption at 58% of Americans aged 12 and over. Within this corner of the Personal Finance guide, listeners argue over two things: whether teaching has slid into selling, and whether a host who hedges on the market is being honest or evasive. Keep both questions in mind, because several shows below are made by people who also sell coaching, loans or a stake in their next deal.
Making a deal prove itself
Ironclad Underwriting Podcast, hosted by Jason Williams, slows deals down. In the loss-run episode, when three units show leaks, the advice is to ask the seller whether they are "the same leak or different ones," and to notice any hesitation.
Pillars Of Wealth Creation supplies the cautionary tale. In POWC # 859 - Property Under Contract - What’s Next?, the host recalls letting the current property manager choose the roofer. The roofer said the roofs had five to 10 years left, and the day after closing, water came into the building. The host had budgeted to replace the roofs anyway.
The Wealth Elevator Podcast: Real Estate, Taxes, Investing explains a deal that died in Mastering Due Diligence on Multifamily Syndication Deals - Webinar Replay. The team says a 300-unit property looked under-rented until concessions and delinquency trends hinted at softness, and the projected returns fell below the team's line. Hearing why a deal was refused teaches as much as hearing one close. Near the end comes a disclaimer that this is not tax, legal or investment advice, alongside an invitation to the show's masterclass.
When the episode is the pitch
Multifamily Investor Playbook shows how thin the line between teaching and selling can get. #113: Atlanta Multifamily Market is Heating Up — #2 Rent Growth Nationwide explains how a wave of new buildings pushes operators into concessions such as a month or two of free rent. #115: Sneak Peek: Inside Our Latest Acquisition — Faris Residences Smyrna presents the hosts' own accepted offer. Near the end, it urges listeners to book a call because "this deal is going to go very quickly." Hear it as a sales presentation.
In Master Passive Income Podcast Network's Turn 1 Property Into $10,000,000 Investing In Real Estate, Dustin Hiner illustrates a $150,000 rental doubling every 15 years to reach $600,000, with tenants covering the mortgage. His example assumes steady appreciation and tenants who pay.
The Luxury Rental Doctor Show is more candid in Episode 173: Is Airbnb Still Worth It in 2026? The Brutal Truth About STRs & MTRs for Hosts. "Most of you watching this should not start an Airbnb," the host says, before inviting listeners into her community near the end.
Collecting Keys - Real Estate Investing Podcast states its interest openly. Near the end of EP 507 - D.R. Horton Neighborhoods are the next Mobile Home Parks, a host promotes the hosts' own lending business.
Markets, read band by band
In Fort Lauderdale Buyers Ignore Luxury Condos, Focus On Vintage Units Discounted By 60%, Miami Real Estate Investing Podcast With Peter Zalewski gets local and numerical. Zalewski and co-host Jenny Huertas measure condo supply by price band: 16.6 months of supply between $800,000 and $1 million, and seven and a half months between $1 million and $1.2 million. The episode argues that the lower band gives buyers more room to negotiate. It is a South Florida reading, not a national one.
Get Paid For Your Pad | Airbnb Hosting | Vacation Rentals | STR Revenue Management applies the same arithmetic to short-term rentals. In June Market Update: World Cup Impact, New Airbnb Discounts, and What's Coming in July, the host takes apart a 15% Airbnb discount for guests with qualifying reviews and a 4.8 rating or higher. The host says a host who raises prices about 18% to stay even with those guests ends up charging every other guest 18% more.
Losses, fees and the people across the table
In My House's From Losing $160,000 in the Stock Market To Millionaire through Real Estate Investing with Michael Zuber, Zuber recounts a cash-out refinance that left a rental with negative cash flow. Zuber then advises listeners to study their market for at least 90 days, until they know what an average deal is, before writing an offer.
In EP 492 - How to Spot a Real Estate Mentor Who's About to Sink You, the hosts of Collecting Keys - Real Estate Investing Podcast say syndication fees can tally five to 6% of assets under management: "a lot of money for zero performance."
In How to Buy Real Estate Debt for Massive Profits from The Rip & Flip Podcast with Al Blocker, on The Best Of Scott Carson, Carson describes buying distressed mortgages from banks and trying to get responsive borrowers paying again. He calls it "rehabbing the borrower."
Several of these conversations lead into other money questions. Collecting Keys' talk of holding cash reserves before investing points toward the Budgeting, Saving & Debt Payoff page. The My House episode's closing reminder that "we don't have to have a thousand units" belongs beside FIRE & Financial Independence. For the wider field, start with the Business & Finance category guide.
