Viejos Payasos

Viejos Payasos is a Spanish-language videogame talk show with the rhythm of a crowded table after years of shared arguments. It rarely moves in a straight line. A discussion of Nintendo Switch 2 pricing can become a complaint about vague digital discounts, a joke about buying too many games, and a broader irritation with how platform holders package value. Resident Evil Requiem brings out a different mode: lore speculation, design criticism, spoiler caution, frustration with maps, and the old question of whether players should discover systems alone or watch advice videos first. The show likes that kind of disagreement. One person wants the blind experience; another hates missing important mechanics and would rather know what to watch for. Older tech experiments also come up as more than trivia. Kinect, HoloLens, Cortana, Siri, Alexa, Google Glass, and Just Dance become evidence in a running debate about failed products that still leave useful ideas behind. The panel is not tidy, and it does not pretend to be. Live chat, donations, email, Patreon mentions, absences, work schedules, webcam jokes, and private callbacks all become part of the episode texture. That can make the topical flow chaotic. It also makes the show feel lived-in. The people on mic sound less like presenters than players who have been comparing notes, prices, grudges, and memories for decades. The humor is sharp without needing a formal setup. News gets roasted before it gets analyzed. Old franchises are loved, mocked, defended, and accused of repeating themselves. The best stretches come when a small complaint opens into a larger story about fandom, money, workplace life, or the weird habits people build around games. Viejos Payasos is for listeners who prefer personality over polish and who enjoy hearing gaming culture filtered through experience, annoyance, and a lot of table noise.
