The rundown
How Satoshi Nakamoto podcasts differ, and which to try
Podcast coverage of Satoshi Nakamoto splits quickly into two modes. A few shows pursue the identity question directly, sometimes across multiple episodes. Most invoke Satoshi while arguing about Bitcoin’s principles, development or possible future, leaving the name somewhere between intellectual reference point and passing aside.
That distinction matters. Anyone hoping for a sustained investigation has only a handful of obvious choices; the wider listening trail is useful mainly for hearing how different Bitcoin communities use the idea of Satoshi.
Following the reveal story
The clearest extended treatment comes from The Blockchain Versus Podcast. Its pair of episodes from August 25, 2019—Satoshi Nakamoto "My Reveal" - Part 1 and Did Satoshi Nakamoto Finally Reveal Himself? The Final Chapter of Satoshi's "My Reveal"—frames the identity question as a developing claim rather than a settled profile. If the mystery itself is your main interest, this sequence makes the show the natural place to start.
The World Crypto Network Podcast takes a more crowded, argumentative route. The Bitcoin Group #488 - Price Slides - Finding Satoshi? - New ETF - UK Ban places the search alongside market movement, regulation and industry news. That billing tells you what to expect: finding Satoshi is one question for the roundtable, not the sole business of the episode. The show’s loose panel style suits listeners who enjoy hearing a headline pushed into a broader Bitcoin argument.
From identity to ideas
Noded Bitcoin Podcast offers the strongest alternative to reveal-chasing. Noded 86 The Best of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute points toward an institution bearing Satoshi’s name and gives the episode a retrospective, curated emphasis. Choose this when the latest identity theory sounds less interesting than hearing what material a technically inclined Bitcoin show considers worth revisiting.
Satoshi appears more obliquely on The Bitcoin Knowledge Podcast. The relevant listening sits inside episodes titled Bitcoin Economist Saifedean Ammous talks about Bitcoin as a store of value., Bitcoin developer Bryan Bishop discusses Bitcoin development., and Aaron Van Wirdum tells epic BTC journalism tales. None promises a dedicated Satoshi examination. Together, though, they show the settings in which the name tends to surface: arguments about Bitcoin’s value, conversations about its development and stories about covering it.
That makes the show better for contextual listening than for solving the identity question. Pick the episode whose surrounding subject interests you; don’t expect the title to guide you to a concentrated Satoshi segment.
A name in the news cycle
On Security Weekly News (Video), Satoshi enters a rapid-fire cybersecurity rundown. The wonderfully overloaded Staypuft, Claude, One Pixel, deepfakes, Raccoon, BOFH, Satoshi Nakamoto, Josh Marpet. - SWN #571 gives equal billing to a procession of people, technologies and threats. This is the lightweight option: current-tech riffing, abrupt pivots and little expectation that one item will dominate.
Security Weekly News (Audio) carries the same episode, published April 10, 2026, under exactly the same title: Staypuft, Claude, One Pixel, deepfakes, Raccoon, BOFH, Satoshi Nakamoto, Josh Marpet. - SWN #571. Choose between the audio and video editions by format, not subject depth; they are two versions of the same crowded discussion.
Elsewhere, coverage becomes difficult to navigate deliberately. Tech Talk Radio records repeated appearances only under date-stamped names such as Tech Talk Radio -July 2, 2022, Tech Talk Radio - March 26,2022 and Tech Talk Radio - Jan. 1, 2022. Those titles offer no indication of where Satoshi enters or how long the discussion lasts. They are poor first stops unless you already follow the program and enjoy its general technology-news mix.
Where to start
Begin with The Blockchain Versus Podcast and Satoshi Nakamoto "My Reveal" - Part 1 when the identity claims are the attraction, then continue to Did Satoshi Nakamoto Finally Reveal Himself? The Final Chapter of Satoshi's "My Reveal".
For a less sensational route, try Noded Bitcoin Podcast with Noded 86 The Best of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute. Choose The World Crypto Network Podcast and The Bitcoin Group #488 - Price Slides - Finding Satoshi? - New ETF - UK Ban for panel debate, or Security Weekly News (Audio) when a short appearance inside a lively technology roundup is enough.
