About FMCGvibes
FMCGvibes is a German-language interview show about the practical business of FMCG and retail. It is close to the shelf. The show spends less time celebrating trends and more time asking how they become listings, displays, repeat purchases, or operational pressure. Guests come from across the market: advisory, retail consulting, life care, bio-snacks, fiber drinks, shopper marketing, and food retail operations. Their career paths matter because the show uses biography as evidence. A founder's first customer, a buyer's view of innovation, or a retailer's staffing problem becomes a way to understand the system around the product. The pacing is measured and conversational. It gives guests room to explain the messy middle between strategy and execution. One episode studies how Einkauf and Category Management judge whether a new article truly adds value to a category. Another asks why customers still visit stores when price, availability, and convenience have shifted online. The answer is not reduced to atmosphere. It includes transaction costs, city-center habits, restaurants, appointments, friends, and the specific reasons people still want to see and select products in person. Other conversations move through Merz Lifecare's transformation work, foodloose's bio-snack growth, FIZI's fiber positioning, Grey Shopper's view of social-to-shelf activation, and Edeka Sulga's need for sharper retail impulses in a more price-conscious environment. The vocabulary is comfortable with POS, Listung, Handel, Category Management, sustainability, nutrition, shopper marketing, and product platforms. Still, the best moments come when those terms are tied to concrete decisions. What does a display communicate in seconds? Which sustainability claims matter when the customer is rushing? How much patience does a manufacturer need before a trend becomes category logic? What does store staff need when expectations rise? FMCGvibes suits people who want industry conversations with working texture, not glossy summaries. It is especially useful for listeners who think retail strategy only becomes real when buyers, shelves, employees, and shoppers all have to live with it.
Made for: For FMCG, retail, shopper marketing, and category professionals who want practical German-language conversations from the DACH market. It also suits founders and brand teams trying to understand what happens after a product leaves the pitch deck.
What sets it apart: FMCGvibes stands out by tying trend talk to listing, POS, category value, and shopper behavior. Its interviews let guests explain the commercial mechanics behind the product story.
