Els experts

Els experts is a Catalan morning program with the tempo of people already halfway through their first coffee. It runs on quick turns, songs, listener messages, complaints, weather notes, news bulletins, and cultural recommendations. Roger Saru, Sergi Vives, and Laia Vidal appear as the recurring on-air center of gravity. Around them, the show keeps pulling in other voices for forecasts, headlines, concerts, theater, film, and music releases. The format feels live and porous. A casual question about making friends through friends can become a miniature social consultancy about keeping old circles while choosing new ones. A segment on the time change can become a comic survival guide, then slide into an AI-made song. The music coverage is one of its strongest signatures. Recent hours touch Joan of Arc, Manu Guix, Doctor Prats, Pocchioli, Ernest Prana, Juventude, Queen, Shakira tickets, and the local concert calendar. The show also pays close attention to Catalan scenes and venues, from Estrenas de Girona to Lo Submarino de Reus. It can be silly without losing the thread. It can also turn grave when the news requires it, with Nona Closa covering conflict, ceasefire claims, Lebanon, Israel, Iran, and domestic law. Culture reports give it another register. Anoni at the Palau de la Música becomes a moment to talk about jazz arrangements, political charge, and emotional intensity. A stage adaptation of Eva Baltasar’s Per Magel is framed through the problem of turning an uncomfortable literary soliloquy into theater. None of this arrives in a sealed-off arts-review voice. The program keeps the room moving, with interruptions, teasing, callbacks, and a willingness to let an aside become the route back to the subject. It is best for listeners who want the morning to feel informed, local, musical, and socially plugged in. Its charm is the speed: culture, absurdity, and news keep jostling until the hour is suddenly over.
