About Desde la Palabra de Dios
Desde la Palabra de Dios is a Spanish Catholic sermon feed shaped by Lent, Easter, and the urgency of conversion. It speaks in long arcs. A passage from scripture becomes the center of gravity, and the reflection circles it with warning and concrete moral examples until the listener can see ordinary life under a harsher and brighter light. The episodes in this set move through Lent and Easter with particular intensity. The desert becomes the place of purification. The mountain becomes the place of silence and encounter. The well of the Samaritan woman becomes the question of thirst. The healing of the blind man becomes a diagnosis of spiritual sight. Lazarus becomes the image of a life called out of the tomb, slowly, painfully, toward resurrection. These are not treated as distant religious stories. They are applied to homes, marriages, children, parents, phones at the dinner table, social media habits, success, shallow relationships, and the search for freedom without commitment. The voice is pastoral, but it is not mild. It asks whether Mass has become easy ritual, whether Lent changed anything beyond food, whether prayer has been crowded out by a busy schedule, and whether distractions have become forms of slavery. Short emphatic phrases interrupt longer theological movement, giving the episodes the feel of a preacher returning again and again to the one point that must not be missed. The show is especially strong when it turns biblical imagery into moral pressure: water that does not satisfy, light that exposes blindness, silence that reveals God, freedom that costs struggle. Its spirituality is practical and severe. Prayer, scripture, fasting, penance, and attention to family life are presented as ordinary roads toward peace, not optional decorations. It is best for listeners who want Catholic preaching with weight, repetition, and directness, where the Gospel is not only explained but pressed into the conscience.
Made for: Spanish-speaking Catholics who want serious sermon-style reflection rooted in scripture, Lent, Easter, prayer, and daily conversion. It especially suits listeners comfortable with direct moral challenge and Catholic spiritual language.
What sets it apart: Its strength is the way one sustained homiletic voice turns biblical images into practical conscience work, moving from Lazarus, the Samaritan woman, the desert, and the blind man to phones, family habits, false satisfaction, silence, and prayer.
