Chasing Heroine is a sobriety-story show with a high tolerance for difficult detail. It does not rush guests toward a clean redemption arc. Instead, episodes linger inside the lived mechanics of addiction: the bargaining, the avoidance, the police encounters, the family strain, the substances, the fear, and the strange moments that seem absurd only after the danger has passed. Jeannine was an active drug addict and alcoholic for 15 years - her using led to multiple arrests, homelessness, and the loss of absolutely everything - which she considers to be the best thing that ever happened to her. Sober since January 15, 2015, and now a successful fitness entrepreneur and instructor, content creator and public speaker, she is committed to sharing both her own and her guest’s stories in the hopes that they may help guide and inspire others seeking a similar path of recovery and healing.
