2026 Amazon PPC Profitability Masterclass That Actually Delivers Results

April 10, 2026·30 min·2 clips
Three supplement brands at MAG run 150% ACoS every month and are completely fine — because their TACos stays at 10 to 12%.
Noah Wickham opens with operator math. He frames the PPC session around Q&A and the 400 plus brands My Amazon Guy manages, then gets into the pain point low-margin sellers care about first: CPC. A question about a product with a 2.5 profit margin turns into a more useful check on what makes cost per click good or bad. He does not jump straight to a verdict. He looks at enabled targeting, total cost, and the economics behind the click before deciding whether PPC can carry its weight. From there, the episode shifts into funnel diagnosis. Brand metrics show awareness down, consideration up, and purchases only a little higher, so a generic campaign tweak would miss the point. New-to-brand is the clean target. In Amazon Marketing Cloud, he picks a rule-based audience, limits it to new-to-brand customers, and ties that back to the awareness problem. Consideration gets its own read. With about 193 shoppers against 1,500, he treats the period as roughly a 10 to 14 percent conversion picture. That is not bottom-funnel victory lap territory. It is middle-funnel work: stay in front of people already considering the product and give them another reason to move toward purchase. The whole thing stays close to the dashboard. He talks through use cases, audiences, brand metrics, funnel performance, and campaign structure while the screen keeps the logic grounded. The closing question is quick but useful. If exact-match one-word targets bring in slight search-term variations or overlap, he treats that as expected behavior and recommends a broad campaign for more availability. Negating those terms is still fine. The through line is profitability. PPC only makes sense when CPC, audience stage, campaign structure, and margin can actually live together.
