This short announcement episode features new host Julia Longoria revealing that More Perfect will return after being dark for four years. The episode opens with a montage of archival audio about the Supreme Court, including the memorable framing that the true symbol of the United States is not the bald eagle but the pendulum, and a discussion of the political thicket metaphor for judicial entanglement. Longoria acknowledges that the court has changed significantly and promises the show will be different to match. She invites listeners to submit questions, worries, and fears about the Supreme Court via email or voice memo. The brief runtime and teaser format serve as a signal flare to the shows dormant audience that new episodes are coming.
