Episode #66: Unlocking Your Full Potential with Giuseppe Grammatico, Your Personal Franchise Guide

·32 min·2 clips
Before buying a franchise, Giuseppe says you must speak with the franchisor’s leader first.
Graham welcomes Giuseppe Grammatico, known as GG the Franchise Guide, at the start of season three. Giuseppe is introduced as a franchise veteran, coach, author, speaker, and consultant who helps candidates find a business model that fits the life they want. Graham points to Giuseppe's phrase Freedom Favors the Bold. Giuseppe explains that the line plays off Fortune Favors the Bold, but freedom mattered more than money for him because he left Wall Street while his family was growing and wanted time at home instead of a commute into New York. The conversation stays on that idea of freedom as something practical, not abstract. Giuseppe says his services are free to the people he helps, with compensation structured like a real estate agent, and that there is no out-of-pocket cost or contract required from the candidate. He also says he works across the entire US and Canada. From there, he pushes back on the assumption that franchise ownership is only for millionaires. He says people do not have to buy a giant fast-food brand for seven figures or more. There are other options. One of them is semi-absentee ownership, where someone keeps a job and runs a business on the side. Giuseppe is clear that it is not easy, and not every franchise allows it. He notes that a general manager may be needed. The point is that listeners are not stuck. If someone hates their job, he does not tell them to quit on the spot. He tells them to start looking at what else is possible. He also challenges the excuse that there is no time. He shares how he used lunch breaks, a conference room, and even calls on Manhattan streets to do the research while still working in the city. He suggests blocking calendar time, moving faster, and using AI or any other tool that helps protect that time. The conversation ends on a softer note about impact, family, and helping people find the right vehicle, including the story of never missing a soccer game as his son grew up, which shows how he measures success beyond revenue alone.
