Some great Toyota podcasts to get to know
The strongest Toyota listening starts at the vehicle level. Podcasts put individual models through comparison, ownership and technology conversations; only occasionally do they step back to consider the company through racing, dealerships, manufacturing or corporate systems. That makes the coverage broad but scattered. You can hear plenty about Toyota, though rarely in one continuous narrative.
The practical split is between conversational car shows, which test Toyota against whatever else is in the segment, and specialist programs that use the company to enter a narrower subject. For a representative contrast, compare Episode 433: 2026 Toyota BZ, 2026 BMW M340i Jahre with Toyota's Journey to Intelligent ITAM Data with ServiceNow. Same organization, completely different listening.
Reviews with some argument in them
Unnamed Automotive Podcast has the deepest model-by-model run. Its two-host format works through banter, challenges and side arguments before settling into an evaluation. Toyota appears beside direct points of comparison in Episode 416: 2026 Cadillac Vistiq, 2025 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid and Episode 432: 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2026 Toyota Camry XLE AWD. The format suits listeners who want automotive detail without the stiffness of a formal review.
There is useful range inside those episodes. Episode 421: 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter, 2026 Audi Q3, Benjamin Bought A New Car puts a Toyota model into a mixed agenda, while Episode 434: 2026 Toyota Sienna, The Hornet is Dead, The Bolt Is Almost Dead, Chinese EVs, Listener Questions places the Sienna amid wider market talk. Expect Toyota to be evaluated in company, not treated in isolation.
For trucks, TFL Talkin' Trucks is the more focused choice. The show talks through specifications and practical use, with plenty of comparison and clarification between its hosts. Why Is Toyota Racing This Tundra On 37s? Deep Dive! | Ep. 326 is unusually specific even by truck-podcast standards: one vehicle, one conspicuous setup and a question sturdy enough to hold the episode together.
AutoExpert is much more combative. Its rapid solo monologues favor hard distinctions, technical explanation and blunt judgment. The title Diesel PHEV: Chery KP31 is the ute Toyota should've built years ago tells you the stance before the argument begins. The EVCX throttle controller can help protect your Toyota from the current epidemic of car theft turns instead toward a practical product and security concern. This is the sharper-edged option, especially if polite brand talk makes you impatient.
Toyota through the electric-car debate
Electric-vehicle shows tend to cover Toyota as one participant in a moving market rather than as the sole subject. Ludicrous Feed | EV Adoption in Australia gives it the most direct headline treatment with Toyota Hilux BEV Launch as EV Adoption continues to rise in Australia. The episode’s framing joins a particular launch to the wider question of adoption, making it a sensible entry point for listeners following both vehicles and market direction.
Electrek uses the roundup format. EV deliveries from Tesla, Rivian, Toyota electric pickup truck, and more places Toyota among several manufacturers and topics, so this is better for a quick industry scan than a deep Toyota session.
Car Stuff Podcast takes another route in Leno Law, Toyota Takes EVs Off-Road, Understanding the Software Defined Vehicle. Its house style is practical, dry and willing to wander into a disagreement or personal example. Here, Toyota shares the bill with legislation and vehicle software. That combination is useful if you prefer to hear a product discussed inside a larger automotive conversation.
The titles also show the limits of this strand. Toyota often occupies one segment of a multi-topic episode. You will get comparisons, launches and arguments about direction, but only rarely a complete account of the company’s electric strategy.
Racing, industry and the people around the cars
PODSPEED offers a clean change of pace with Ken Gushi Toyota Gazoo Racing Pro Drift Driver - Podspeed #46. It is a guest-led route into Toyota-related motorsport, much narrower than a general model review and therefore easier to choose when racing is the real interest.
Driving with Dunne approaches Toyota through an industry interview. Chinese Automakers Are Pouring Into Mexico. Luis Lozano, Former CEO, Toyota de Mexico. uses the guest’s Toyota connection within a discussion whose headline concern is Chinese automakers entering Mexico. Toyota matters here as experience and context, not as the whole story.
Car Dealership Guy Podcast goes straight to dealership scale and money in #24 Acquiring 60+ dealerships within 7 years, Raising kids into generational wealth, Paying $200M+ for a Toyota store & Brett’s blunt message to Ford CEO Jim Farley | Brett Morgan, CEO, Morgan Auto Group. The crowded title is accurate advertising for a wide-ranging business conversation. Choose it for the dealership angle; skip it if you mainly want to hear about vehicles.
Beyond Rockets brings the focus down to one community and one operation. Episode 266: How Mazda Toyota Is Growing People, Cars, and Community in North Alabama with David Fernandes promises a local conversation organized around people, cars and community. It is one of the few Toyota-titled episodes here whose center of gravity sits outside reviews, EV news or racing.
Inside the organization, and where Toyota is only the sponsor
The ITAM Executive: A Podcast for IT Asset Management Professionals is the specialist outlier. Its measured, practitioner-led discussions explain complicated systems through scenarios and operational consequences. Toyota's Journey to Intelligent ITAM Data with ServiceNow is the place to go for Toyota as an internal technology case rather than an automaker under review.
Chief of Cybersecurity is similarly specialized, though more conversational and deliberately repetitive in its teaching. Toyota Vulnerability Management Practices Are Weak announces a critical assessment in unusually plain terms. If cybersecurity practice interests you, not cars, this is the obvious choice.
Dear Asian Americans needs a different warning. Toyota appears in 193 // Berna Anat // The Asian American Dreamers Series brought to you by Toyota and 192 // Sho Dewan // The Asian American Dreamers Series brought to you by Toyota, but those titles identify a sponsored series. The show’s warm interviews center identity and personal experience; Toyota is part of the presentation, not the interview subject. These are poor starting points for learning about Toyota itself.
Where to start
Begin with Unnamed Automotive Podcast’s Episode 421: 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter, 2026 Audi Q3, Benjamin Bought A New Car for conversational vehicle criticism. For the electric transition, try Ludicrous Feed | EV Adoption in Australia and Toyota Hilux BEV Launch as EV Adoption continues to rise in Australia. PODSPEED’s Ken Gushi Toyota Gazoo Racing Pro Drift Driver - Podspeed #46 is the racing on-ramp. For a view far beyond the showroom, choose The ITAM Executive: A Podcast for IT Asset Management Professionals and Toyota's Journey to Intelligent ITAM Data with ServiceNow.
