Picking your next SAP podcast

Most SAP listening starts in the middle of a project: a migration is under way, an integration needs untangling, or a team is deciding what to build next. The vocabulary gets specialized quickly. SAP S/4HANA Data Migration and Master Data Management Best Practices with SAP BTP is a representative title, as is #752: Modernizing SAP with AWS. These shows generally expect the listener to arrive with a reason for caring.

That does not make the coverage uniform. Some podcasts offer a polished route through products and customer transformations. Others bring community scrutiny, field reports from events, or the candid sound of practitioners comparing tools.

The guided enterprise tour

Let’s Talk Data: Business Technology Podcast | SAP has the deepest bench. Its measured interviews turn business problems into frameworks, use cases, and implementation takeaways, usually with a promotional undertone. The range runs from Journey to Intelligent Data Applications: Modernize with SAP HANA Cloud to Enterprise Automation: SAP and Third-Party Integration and Connectivity | feat. AG Consultancy. SAP is discussed here as a connected enterprise stack rather than as one isolated application.

AI receives sustained treatment here. The Future of Enterprise AI starts with Knowledge Graphs – Powered by SAP HANA Cloud takes the data-infrastructure route, while Artificial Intelligence (AI) for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP | Let's Talk Cloud ERP Sub-Series puts the subject into the cloud ERP conversation. The questions are carefully steered and the tone stays professional. Listen when you want an orderly explanation rather than an argument.

Inside SAP S/4HANA Cloud narrows the frame to deployments and outcomes. Episode 139: Scaling Globally: The BeLenka Success Story with SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the clearest English-language on-ramp. The show also carries regional editions: BR - Episódio 1 | Compreendendo o Impacto da Reforma Tributária no SAP Cloud ERP and FR – Épisode 2 | IA & SAP Cloud ERP : Les innovations qui redéfinissent l’ERP make the coverage unusually multilingual.

Where the community pushes back

For a less managed conversation, Coffee Corner Radio - the Unofficial SAP Community Podcast is the useful counterweight. Its recurring “State of SAP” format promises scrutiny rather than a product walkthrough: Episode 83 - State of SAP Quarterly with Holger Müller (Constellation Research). The same feed moves comfortably into specialist territory with Episode 82 - Security in the SAP Ecosystem with Alexander Zellner (SmarterSec) and Episode 84 - The Evolution of ABAP with Karl Kessler (SAP) and Thomas Fiedler (SAP).

The sharpest title belongs to SAP and Enterprise Trends Podcasts from Jon Reed (@jonerp) of diginomica.com. The state of SAP, and where should customers go from here? An opinionated (and unscripted) review tells you exactly what sort of session to expect. Choose it when the polished interview cadence starts to feel too frictionless.

ASUG Talks sits between those poles. ASUG Talks: Breaking Down the Debut of SAP Business Data Cloud offers a focused unpacking of one announcement, while SAP's Jan Gilg on Practical Advice for Navigating AI, Cloud, and SAP’s 2027 ECC Support Deadline signals a more operational conversation. The emphasis is on navigating decisions, with enough specificity to suit listeners already following the platform.

Then there is Tech Aloud, whose SAP episodes put failure and architecture choices plainly in the title. Start with The Seven Reasons Your SAP Tech Initiatives Are Failing - John Patterson - 26 Feb 2025 for diagnosis. SAP BTP runtimes, my personal considerations and preferences on Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP runtimes - Mauricio Lauffer - 18 Jun 2025 is for the listener who wants named options and an explicit point of view.

For builders and cloud teams

The builder-facing shows become more useful as the questions get narrower. Unlocking SAP BTP tackles infrastructure choices in SAP BTP Data Center Expansion & Sovereign Cloud Strategy Explained (Sovereign Cloud vs. Sovereign Cloud On-Site) | feat. Matthias Rosker & Michael Schmidt. Its Create Your Own AI Agents with SAP Build | feat. Maria Kondratyeva points toward hands-on creation. This is focused listening for people already inside the terminology.

Bluebeard's Tech Talk is looser and more practitioner-led. // 14 How to innovate with ABAP and SAP BTP with Aleks Debelic pairs a familiar SAP language with the broader platform, while // 12 How Phil Cooley and his team help customers get the most out of their SAP investment approaches the subject through customer value. The episode numbering and direct titles give it the feel of a working technical conversation.

A single episode can still provide a valuable outside angle. Dev Interrupted brings its brisk engineering sensibility to The 12 Scenarios of Failure: Applying Chaos Engineering to SAP at AWS. AWS Podcast, calmer and more explanatory, offers #752: Modernizing SAP with AWS. Together they make a useful pair: one frames SAP through failure testing, the other through modernization.

Google Cloud Platform Podcast supplies another cloud-adjacent entry with SAP + Apigee: The Power of APIs with Benjamin Schuler and Dave Feuer. Its SAP coverage is limited, but this episode is a concrete stop for listeners interested in APIs rather than a broad platform survey.

Conference-floor listening

Event coverage has a different energy. The Dutch BI Podcast splits its SAP Sapphire Madrid reporting into SAP Sapphire Madrid is here! (Part 1) and SAP Sapphire Madrid is here - What happened at Day 1! (Part 2). Those episodes are the closest thing here to dispatches: useful when you want the shape of an event rather than a carefully bounded technical lesson.

Where to start

For the broadest technical introduction, begin with Let’s Talk Data: Business Technology Podcast | SAP and Driving Innovation in Modern Enterprises with SAP Business Suite in the AI-Era. Follow it with Coffee Corner Radio - the Unofficial SAP Community Podcast and Episode 83 - State of SAP Quarterly with Holger Müller (Constellation Research) to hear a more independent register.

Builders should go directly to Unlocking SAP BTP and Create Your Own AI Agents with SAP Build | feat. Maria Kondratyeva. For a skeptical, compact assessment, choose SAP and Enterprise Trends Podcasts from Jon Reed (@jonerp) of diginomica.com and The state of SAP, and where should customers go from here? An opinionated (and unscripted) review.
