In Episode 134 - Conor Benn Gets $15M for...Regis Prograis he takes apart a Ring magazine claim that a card was struggling to sell tickets, pointing out that tickets had not yet gone on sale.

Michael Montero, host of Montero On Boxing and The Neutral Corner boxing podcast, is the corrective to hype. In Shakur Stevenson the GOAT Already? Slow Down!!! he reads out Max Kellerman's post-fight tweet placing Stevenson among the elite, then answers it: "pump the brakes and stop being so desperate." The Opening Bell; A boxing podcast pairs Matt Christie and Alex Steedman, and it is the most reflective company here. In FURY V JOSHUA? – BENN’S POWER CUT, one host calls the ringside staging a ridiculous bit of theatre. He then turns to Anthony Joshua, who he notes lost two of his closest friends in a car crash: "I think he deserves to be granted that time to know where his head's at." In DEL BOY’S LAST STAND? TYSON FURY RETURNS, watching Derek Chisora, the show counts itself in: "We work in boxing. We're no angels." That Fury–Joshua episode also revisits Michael Brodie's rematch with In-jin Chi, and CANELO PICKS HIS BATTLE returns to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai's 2017 rematch with Chocolatito.

Showtime Boxing offers history of another kind. EPISODE 299: MORRELL BEATS AGBEKO, SHOWTIME LEAVES BOXING, TOP 5 SHOWTIME FIGHTERS EVER, from December 2023, finds Eric Raskin and Kieran Mulvaney on the network's way out of the sport.

Ringside Toe2Toe Boxing Podcast, hosted by Andy Scott, builds around guests. In Will Fury-AJ fight finally happen? | Riakporhe wants world title shot | Scotney targeting Serrano, Richard Riakporhe talks about the Lonsdale belt and joining a lineage that includes Henry Cooper. A panellist then declares that if the guest being addressed isn't a superstar beyond boxing within 18 months, Sky and MVP are not doing their jobs. It is a pointed thing to say on a podcast, and the room simply agrees.

BoxHard Boxing Podcast, with Joey Coast-Man and Eddie Chambers, logs results card by card in its Mykal Fox episode. In BoxHard Podcast Episode 539: Mykal Fox, the guest recalls his father making small talk on the way to a weigh-in before mentioning that the opponent was out.

Fight Night Boxing Podcast, on TalkSport, can turn heavier still. Its Bilal Fawaz episode includes a guest's account of arriving at social services as a teenager. He says that from 14 to 33 he could not work or go to university, yet he still boxed for England: "I became a number F1062852." Some shows sound like a room you can walk into. On Ring King Boxing World, hosted by Big Q, Wilder BEATS Chisora! Controversy & What’s Next?! folds in post-fight press audio. The host then urges you to put your headset on to listen closely.

Ringside Reporter, with Joe Habib, takes callers. In its Wilder–Chisora episode, one host borrows an online commentator's verdict that it looked like a Misfits fight.

J & Brey Boxing podcast is louder again. TJABB EP.312 STATE OF THE UNION PT.2 spends 85 minutes moving from Oscar De La Hoya's legal disputes to whether Shakur Stevenson's wins will age well.
