YesWas | Podcast

YesWas is a Polish technology podcast where Arlena and Wojtek make modern tools feel lived-in. The show is not built around glossy launches or tidy gadget worship. It works better as a running conversation about what technology does once it enters real schedules, real homes, real work, and real creative anxiety. A trip becomes a reason to talk about hotel Wi-Fi, upload speeds, LTE tethering, and the small calculations behind staying connected. A keyboard choice turns into sound, wear, typing feel, habits, work demands, and live ASMR jokes. YouTube Premium becomes a discussion about ads, creator revenue, subscriptions, and whether paying for convenience can also be a fairer way to support the people being watched. A task manager is not just another app. It becomes a story about overloaded calendars, expensive software, sustainability, and the painful time cost of trying to organize one's own work. The show's rhythm is casual but attentive. It has interruptions, corrections, little challenges, and dry punchlines that keep the talk from feeling processed. Arlena and Wojtek often begin with personal logistics: illness, holidays, travel, missed recordings, family timing, or patron-only After Dark notes. From there, the topic usually widens. Technology is treated as something that shapes routines, money, attention, comparison, and confidence. The show is especially good at noticing the gap between what a tool promises and what it feels like to actually use it. It can be lightly chaotic. That is part of the texture. YesWas suits listeners who want tech talk with personality, practical specificity, and enough humor to admit that even useful tools can become another thing to manage.
