A win over Nashville becomes a discussion of Matt Boldy's hat trick, Jared Spurgeon's overtime winner, UC Soros' third-period work, and Roman Yossi's habit of making life difficult for Minnesota. A wild afternoon against Vancouver turns into a full audit of five-on-three chances, hat tricks, a franchise-record 10 goals, and whether the comeback says something real about the team. Short bursts carry it. Longer stretches settle into practical hockey: special teams, goaltending, rebuild talk, draft luck, core players, prospects, and how long it takes to become the Avalanche or the Oilers. The callers matter because they change the temperature. Some bring outrage after Dallas. Others bring date-night stories, North Stars memories, or questions about Marc-Andre Fleury's goodbye season.
