About Undercooked Analysis
Undercooked Analysis is a group comedy show that treats internet horror and pop culture texts as material for both critique and chaos. Its roots are in creepypasta, and that DNA still shows. Episodes read, question, and puncture stories whose scares depend on strange timing, strange geography, overstuffed lore, or a sentence that was never meant to be heard aloud. The show can be very funny because it is also attentive. A tossed-off detail in The Rake, an SCP interview log, or a surreal Splash Mountain scenario can become the thing everyone circles for minutes. Then the conversation snaps sideways. Impressions appear. A Fallout discussion drifts through character beats, Jacob's Ladder irritation, Silent Hill jokes, and the question of which crossover would be most absurd. It is not polished panel talk. That looseness is the point. The speakers sound most alive when a bad line, a strange premise, or an oddly specific bit of formatting gives them something to chase. There is real literary scrutiny underneath the noise, especially around pacing, point of view, character motivation, and whether a story has earned its dramatic turn. The show also has a long memory for internet horror culture. Older creepypasta conventions are treated with a mix of affection, embarrassment, and forensic attention. It can be harsh, but the recent anniversary framing also shows some self-awareness about how the project has changed over time. For listeners, the appeal is not just hearing a story mocked. It is hearing a room discover, in real time, why a text works, why it breaks, and why the broken parts are sometimes the best part.
Made for: Best for listeners who like creepypasta, SCP fiction, game and TV tangents, and comedy that comes from overanalyzing strange writing. It especially suits people who enjoy horror culture with a skeptical, irreverent edge.
What sets it apart: The show stands apart by mixing genuine close reading with rapid group riffing, so criticism and absurdity keep interrupting each other. It can spend equal energy on character motivation, punctuation weirdness, old internet horror habits, and a derailed bit about Fallout or Splash Mountain.
In their own words
Undercooked Analysis began with a simple idea: no script, no plan, and no filters as Creepypasta is put to literary scrutiny. Every Tuesday, join some mixture of David, Allen, Kaela and/or an ever-changing roster of guests as they attempt to make their way through whatever the internet throws at them. No story is safe from their raw feedback and inane banter.
