We help you learn lots of topics! The aim: To have a conversation with anyone about anything. This can be a really useful skill to have and something you can use in all aspects of your day to day life. Be that at the pub with friends, during a job interview, or speaking with your boss at work. In this podcast we will cover a wide range of topics. We will hopefully introduce you to new topics, books or concepts that we think will be useful to learn. So you know we are not experts in the subjects we cover, we have one week to read and research the topic. This is then a summary of the research and reading we have done. We do the hard work, then share what we think is the most useful information…

And Another Thing....Series 11 Wrap UpMay 14, 2025

A conversational series closer that revisits a wide spread of topics without pretending to be authoritative.

Series 11 ends with a loose, conversational wrap-up that circles back through what Ollie and Liam have covered, while slipping in a few fresh updates and bits of news. It works because the hosts do not pretend to know more than they do.

Black HolesApr 28, 2025

A patient, plain-English take on a topic that refuses to stay simple.

Black holes are the sort of subject that can turn dense fast, and this episode works best when it does not rush past that fact. Ollie and Liam spend a week doing the reading, then turn it into a plain-English account of one of the hardest topics they have taken on.

Darts - One Hundred and EiiiiiiiiiiiiightyMar 12, 2025

A friendly, plain-English introduction to darts scoring, checkouts, and diddle for the middle.

Two Guys One Topic offers a clear, plain-English look at darts, with enough care to make the scoring, checkouts, and diddle for the middle easy to follow.
