About Two Ewes Fiber Adventures
Two Ewes Fiber Adventures is a fiber-arts conversation centered on Kelly and Marsha, their projects, and the friendship that holds the show together. The episodes move at the pace of real making. A sweater may be nearly done, except for ends, washing, blocking, and a sleeve length that still needs judgment. A warp may be full of possibility, but also full of decisions about color, sett, cotton, chenille strips, dish towels, or rugs. Nothing is treated as too small to talk through. That is the charm. The show gives listeners the practical inner monologue of crafters weighing options in public. It covers knitting, weaving, spinning, dyeing, crocheting, and whatever else can be done with string. It also makes space for the life around the projects. Marsha might be back from Oaxaca and still too tired for a proper dinner. Kelly might be recovering from a cold after grades are due. A recording studio might turn out to be the cab of a truck because the house is too noisy. Dogs, weather, trips to the beach, camping plans, tamales, and household drainage worries all become part of the texture. The craft talk is specific: Fibonacci striping, handspun leftovers, charity hats, rug warp, flake cotton, blocking, loom capacity, and the consequences of having to re-warp. The mood is companionable rather than performative. Kelly and Marsha can critique a knitting competition, joke about wild work-in-progress plans, or admit that a solution is sensible without being much fun. For listeners who like fiber podcasts as company during their own making time, the show offers steady presence, concrete project talk, and the comfortable feeling of two friends thinking with yarn in their hands.
Made for: For knitters, weavers, spinners, crocheters, and fiber-curious listeners who enjoy detailed project talk with a casual friend-to-friend rhythm. It especially suits people who like process notes, practical problem-solving, and domestic side trails.
What sets it apart: The show stands out for how closely it follows real craft decisions as they unfold, from loom logistics to sweater fit to using up leftover yarn. Its fiber talk is inseparable from travel, weather, dogs, house projects, and friendship.
In their own words
Who are we and why are we podcasting? We are Kelly and Marsha. We came at yarn and fiber from different directions, but we both love it. Marsha is an accomplished knitter, learning to dye yarn. Kelly is a spinner who knits and weaves. Fiber is one of the many interests we share after over 30 years of friendship.
As heard by us
Based on 6 episodes we listened to · September 2026
Unfinished knitting and weaving decisions become warm, exacting conversations about how handmade objects actually take shape.
Kelly and Marcia treat fiber craft as work in progress, bringing unfinished decisions, revisions, and occasional miscalculations directly into their conversation.
Why you'd press play
A chenille-rug loom problem becomes the kind of debrief that makes your WIP pile feel normal.
Press play if you want
- Kelly and Marcia to troubleshoot weaving choices without pretending every option is fun
- knitting progress measured honestly, including short sleeves, unfinished ends, and the diplomatic fiction of 'done'
