The ABINGERS - An MCU Podcast

The ABINGERS is a fan-review show for Marvel Studios followers who like their coverage lively, blunt, and full of side-road jokes. Its home base is the MCU. The recent excerpts show the format stretching naturally into DCU coverage, What If? mini-pods, and even a requested Titanic review tied to the historical moment of the ship’s sinking. That range matters. The show is less a formal criticism desk than a recurring table of friends trying to make sense of genre entertainment while tired, amused, irritated, or fully checked out. Brandon is clearly identified as one of the hosts, and Emmy and Keith recur as the other voices in the room. Their check-ins often set the tone before the title being reviewed has even entered the frame. Some days that tone is stressed. Some days it is combative. Some days the joke is simply that everyone is still upright enough to record. Once the discussion turns to the episode or film, the group works through reactions with spoiler-heavy candor. Daredevil Born Again gets treated as superhero television worth following closely. Peacemaker brings sharper DCU argument into the feed. What If? receives a more weary, skeptical treatment, especially when the premise feels like names and genres thrown together for novelty. The hosts still register performances and details, but they do not force enthusiasm where the excerpts show none. That gives the show its useful edge. It is fandom coverage from people who know the material well enough to be impatient with it. The humor is loud and sometimes adult, but the core function is clear: immediate, communal processing of superhero stories and adjacent pop-culture detours. Fans looking for calm recap may find it too unruly. Fans who want laughter, annoyance, spoilers, and recognizable friend-group momentum will understand the appeal quickly.
