Terry Boyd's World Audio On Demand

Terry Boyd's World Audio On Demand works like a grab bag from a loud, fast Portland morning show. Its center of gravity is comedy, but the feed keeps changing shape. Some episodes are guest interviews. Some are weird-news countdowns. Others are trivia contests where the wrong answers are as useful as the right ones. The 533 segments are the clearest recurring engine: three strange stories, a few sharp reactions, and a punchline before the room moves on. The stories skew toward human behavior at its least dignified. A ramen shop owner threatens negative reviewers. A student panics over an inflatable girlfriend and starts a dorm fire. Men try to send prison contraband over a wall with a cannon. Another segment turns a race-prank story into cartoon logic, then pivots to an airline-counter meltdown. The show also makes room for guest calls without changing its posture. Mickey Thomas talks about Starship naming confusion, Jefferson Starship overlap, and the luck of still singing songs in their original keys. Kathy Griffin gets a longer runway, moving from lung cancer and a tour title to Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, career fallout, and full-throttle stage material. Those conversations are casual and sometimes chaotic, but they stay driven by personality rather than biography. Can You Beat Jeets adds a game-show spine, with callers challenging Jeets on trivia and the room riffing through every stumble. The appeal is not refinement. It is pace, timing, and a willingness to chase the strangest part of a story first. Terry Boyd's World Audio On Demand suits listeners who want comedy-news fragments, local radio texture, music and comedy guests, and recurring bits that feel already in motion when the clip starts.
