Where the treatment table meets the squat rack.
The gist
Sports Rehab Success Show connects the treatment table to the weight room. It works through hip position, foot mechanics and hamstring loading in practical clinical terms, and between the explainer episodes come conversations, including one with Angela Gordon about her work as lead physical therapist for the Washington Nationals.

About Sports Rehab Success Show
Sports Rehab Success Show treats the rehab clinic and the weight room as one workplace. It moves between solo explainers, recorded conversations and a webinar, but the concern holds steady: how joints are positioned, and what that means for pain and performance. The solo episodes greet their audience as 'Sports Rehab Experts' and get to the mechanics fast. On the hip, the argument is pointed. Rehab, athletic training and sports performance work all build strength, power and capacity, but positional coordination, meaning control of joint orientation under load, gets far less attention. Hamstrings help hold the pelvis and keep the ribcage stacked above it. The glutes do more than drive the hips forward. They also control orientation at the hip, and that is where many lifters lose control as they finish a deadlift, squat or power clean. That material ran as a hip impingement series, with a companion blog post that gathers the videos alongside written versions. The foot episode, on tarsal tunnel syndrome and Morton's neuroma, treats both as nerve-related pain and names the tripod foot as the most important concept for any foot exercise. Heel, big toe, little toe: three points of contact to keep while walking, running, squatting or lunging. Shoes and orthotics get a measured hearing, useful for restricting motion but no replacement for training the foot to find better shapes on its own. The Nordic hamstring episode flags how often the exercise is set up wrong. It explains why a glute ham raise is easier than a true Nordic, which is meant to be loaded until the lifter fails. Joe Hyler of SportsRehabExpert.com talks with Angela Gordon, lead physical therapist for the Washington Nationals, about her go-to treatments once an assessment turns up a mobility or soft tissue problem. Her answer turns to soft tissue tools and to baseball players who deal with back pain and spasms across a season of heavy rotation. A separate discussion asks how much PRI still shapes practice. It recalls a stretch when every problem seemed to get fixed on the back in 90-90, and it explains what it means when the top hip rolls backward during an Ober's test. One exchange there lands on a line worth keeping: the paintbrush does not make the artist. The webinar recording, split into two parts, works through rehab and strength training myths by way of stereotypes, including the 'neutrality warriors' who expect perfect alignment on every rep despite fatigue and heavy loads. Walking alone, it points out, involves hip dip, shoulder dip and thorax rotation with every step. Some episodes were plainly recorded as video, with mentions of on-screen links and a diagram attempted with a mouse, and two close with an offer of virtual consultations. What a listener takes away is a clinician's working vocabulary, applied to the lifts, runs and walks people actually do.
Made for: Suits a physical therapist, athletic trainer or strength coach who wants exercise and assessment detail to use in sessions, such as Nordic setup, reading an Ober's test and tripod-foot cues. It also fits a runner or walker curious about the mechanics behind nerve-related foot pain.
What sets it apart: It keeps arguing that joint position and orientation matter as much as raw strength, and it follows that idea from manual assessment into deadlifts, squats and power cleans. Solo breakdowns, clinician interviews and a webinar on training myths all come back to that one concern.
