RPG Next: Tarrasque na Bota

RPG Next: Tarrasque na Bota is a Portuguese-language RPG feed built around play, conversation, and community maintenance. It has actual-play episodes, but it also spends real time on everything that keeps the project alive around the table. Monthly information bulletins track what has been released, what is exclusive to supporters, what is changing in the feeds, and what the RPG Next community can expect next. That administrative layer is unusually present, and it becomes part of the charm. The show lets listeners hear the machinery as well as the adventure. Pergaminhos na Bota brings in listener messages and live chat, then follows the thread wherever it goes. A note about an episode can turn into a discussion of GURPS, Babylon 5, Dragonbane, Iron Sworn, D&D spells, or the difference between similar sci-fi references. The pacing is quick, but not tidy. Speakers correct themselves, pause to remember names, joke through confusion, and circle back when the useful point finally appears. The actual-play side has a theatrical, rules-aware energy. In the GURPS superhero excerpt, characters juggle powers, grapples, fatigue recovery, shock, teleportation, and the risk of world-ending consequences while the table negotiates what the rules allow. The feed also cares about how games are made. Rafael 47 talks through live-effect tables, supporter donations, and the need to avoid adding dangers that make player characters unfairly fragile. That practical concern gives the show a workshop feel. It is not only celebrating RPGs; it is constantly adjusting how RPG sessions, releases, communities, and side projects should function. The supporter ecosystem appears often, including Apoia-se access, godparents and godmothers, exclusive episodes, raffles, and private groups. Neuronautas and The Forge appear as neighboring projects in the same orbit. The result is expansive and porous. It suits listeners who enjoy long-form RPG talk, serialized adventures, community updates, and the slightly chaotic intimacy of people building a hobby project in public.
