Radio Empire

Radio Empire is a local radio world preserved in podcast form, full of abrupt turns, recurring programs, station IDs, and people who sound as if they have only just stepped away from the town square. It is messy in a recognizable way. SportEmpire gives the station its club-house energy, with Mimmo Moscolino steering conversations about volleyball, La Cantera Football, young players, presidents, defenders, team managers, and the proud noise of supporters. The sports hours are not just scores and fixtures. They are memory, belonging, gratitude, rivalry, and the small ceremonial work of naming everyone before the clock runs out. Burning Love has another rhythm. It can open from Furci Siculo with Giovanna Mazzeo and Gio talking about the Riviera after Ciclone Harry, damaged seafronts, reopening roads, absent politicians, and the feeling that Sicily should not be left alone. Then the program snaps back into music, international news, local advertisements, jokes, and the loose forward motion of a busy afternoon broadcast. Take On Me and Sanremo Story turn the festival years into a running musical scrapbook, moving from presenters and winners to remembered songs, excluded artists, guests, and personal favorites. Radio Empire per voi is built on requests and dedications, where Rossella, Mimmo da Fiume Nesi, Franco, commercial breaks, Easter greetings, and schedule reminders all become part of the same social fabric. Robin Time EXTRA is the unruly corner, jumping from J-Ax to Pitbull, Harry Styles, Bonnie Tyler, film commentary, jokes about unlucky thieves, and affectionate sign-offs to the next program. NAIF offers the counterweight. Ambra gives that hour a softer, more confessional tone, pairing songs with thoughts about hard days, family, friendship, self-respect, and the people who stay when life gets difficult. Across the feed, music is never only music. It is a cue, a memory, a bridge, a breather, and sometimes the entire reason for the hour. Local businesses sit beside national pop culture. Sports guests sit beside weather damage. Sanremo nostalgia sits beside WhatsApp numbers and FM frequencies. The station’s identity comes from that pileup. Radio Empire suits listeners who enjoy living radio: warm, regional, spontaneous, sometimes overstuffed, and deeply attached to the voices and places it serves.
