Podcast Awal Minggu

Podcast Awal Minggu is an Indonesian comedy talk show with the feel of a room that refuses to stay on one topic. The speaker starts casually, often with a personal aside about getting older, social media, consistency, a special show, or whatever odd pressure is sitting near the microphone that week. Then the conversation starts grabbing at headlines. Some are strange. Some are bleak. Drugs, school incidents, parking disputes, politics, religion, viral outrage, and entertainment talk all become material for long comic detours. The show does not treat the news desk as sacred. It treats it as a pile of things people are somehow expected to process while also selling tickets, watching films, aging in public, and trying not to become embarrassing online. Guest episodes widen that world. Gofar Hilman brings talk about politics, radio, music scenes, relevance, and the sadness of watching old idols clash over money and rights. Rais Marasabessy brings the stand-up circuit into focus, from touring cities to the tension between stage work and content creation. Duto and Sukraj bring conversations about monthly comedy events, The Boring Agency, keeping up with younger comics, and the anxiety of a long-running podcast nearing a decade. The best moments have a crowded, improvisational shape. A small line gets repeated until it turns funny, then the joke mutates into a real question about class, ego, friendship, taste, or work. The show is blunt without feeling detached. It can be reckless around dark material, but it also keeps circling back to vulnerability: wanting to still be funny, wanting the audience to stay, wondering whether any truth lasts. Podcast Awal Minggu works for listeners who like comedy as live thinking, not as packaged wisdom.
