Om Rupani teaches workshops in BDSM, Man-Woman Relating and Tantra, and the podcast that bears his name gathers his talks and interviews about that work. There are solo pieces, aimed squarely at people deciding whether to book a retreat. There are conversations recorded for other podcasts and carried here. And there is an announcement, made with Lauren Harkness, of a new training curriculum. The subject never really changes; only the angle does. His central claim is that dominance and submission are a school in hierarchy. On the Remasculation podcast he tells Mikaal Bates that men need to learn to lead and to follow, that the military works because everyone does both, and that most straight women want a man who can lead them well rather than one they have to steer. On Essential Underground the host asks about dom-sub archetypes and how they map onto ordinary relationships. Om's reply to the political objection, the one that asks why any woman should kneel before a man, is that nobody said that. The scene is a short game inside boundaries, the dom could be a woman, and the only test is whether the person who tried it got something out of it. The Kelly Brogan episode goes somewhere different. She hosts Reclamation Radio, introduces him as provocative, outspoken and audacious, and says this is probably his third visit. Together they work through scene construction for catharsis: take a memory of a father who shamed you, play it exactly as it happened, then flip the script and play it the other way. Adults, he says, are not so fragile; they can run both versions and see which one lands harder. He describes parent-child play at a gathering in Tulum where partners were matched by tarot card rather than by choice or gender. He also admits he still does not own a pair of leather pants, his way of saying the fringe stereotype is wrong. The solo talks are the pitch, delivered without much softening. In 'Why Men Should Attend My Trainings - Because Women Are Indeed Scary!' he argues that men have settled for entertaining women when what they need is to be initiated by them. In 'Why Women Should Come To My BDSM Training' he describes women who say they want containment from a strong man and then brace when one arrives, and suggests that noticing the bracing is the work. Both close with the same invitation: a retreat an hour from Vienna, come alone or with a partner, and a nudge to see the city while there. The curriculum episode sets out Courtesan Mastery Training as six modules, three carried over from the earlier Modern Priestess of Eros program and the rest new, with first sessions planned for Tulum and Cyprus. Om notes that a good share of the women who take the dominatrix training never intend to practise; they do it for their own opening. This is a teacher explaining his method, defending it, and telling the listener where to sign up.
