About Follow the Money

Follow the Money is a live sports betting broadcast on VSiN, coming from the Circa Resort and Casino in downtown Las Vegas with Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard on the microphones. It treats the sports calendar as one long betting card. The feed carries the program in hour-labeled parts alongside Best of editions, and the openings list YouTube TV, SiriusXM, iHeartRadio and TuneIn among the places the broadcast airs. In the recent stretch, the NBA and NHL playoffs sit at the center. Basketball talk runs partly through money already on the table. One opening turns on a 14-1 Hornets playoff ticket held for ten months, which could cash with a road win in Orlando. That the game looks one-sided on paper is exactly what worries the ticket holder. Orlando gets a harsher read: a disappointing team that gave up four picks in a trade, seems at odds with its coach, and risks a 'home court disadvantage' if the crowd turns. Offseason speculation comes up as well, including Kawhi Leonard's future and whether the Heat take swings at both him and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Baseball is where the numbers get densest. A Logan Webb breakdown sets a 5.25 ERA against a 3.21 FIP, flags his walk rate and his history of pitching better at home, then explains why his price still moved from $1.60 to $1.39: the opposing starter has been that bad. Games in progress get the same treatment, as when a Yankees and Angels game turns into a home run derby and the talk tracks what Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton were paying to go deep. Guests carry much of the specialist load. Henry Abbott is booked for a half hour on the NBA playoffs, Brian Mahoney handles more basketball, and Dan Leberfeld and Steve Wiss are lined up for the NFL Draft and soccer best bets. Dennis Bernstein, introduced as a longtime friend of the show, comes on the 'progressive guest line' for first-round hockey, weighing an Edmonton and Anaheim matchup through penalty killing, defensive mistakes and the argument that it will be high-scoring. Doug Kazarian, introduced as being with The Athletic, moves the talk to the women's Final Four and UConn's 6.5-point line against South Carolina, after some back-and-forth about blazers. He also questions how much UConn's results mean with the Big East so down. Casino games get airtime too, with one segment revisiting the 'hold the kicker' debate in poker, citing a listener who won 12,000 playing triple-double after keeping a two alongside three aces. On a Friday hour, the back end is set aside for best bets heading into the weekend. It suits a listener who wants the day's games laid out as prices, positions and moving lines.

Made for: Suits a listener who bets, or follows betting lines, across several sports at once and wants playoff series, pitching matchups and draft talk framed in odds and line movement.

What sets it apart: It broadcasts live from a downtown Las Vegas casino resort and talks openly about bets already placed, so a play-in game can matter because of a 14-1 playoff ticket. Its range also stretches past the major leagues into women's college basketball, soccer best bets and poker strategy.
