Escuela de la Fe

Escuela de la Fe is a Spanish-language Catholic radio program with a teaching heart and a parish-radio body. It is devotional first. The episodes lean on prayer, saintly reference, Catholic doctrine, and the rhythm of repeated phrases that are meant to be prayed with, not merely heard. A sequence on consecration to San Jose treats him as protector, fatherly model, and spiritual patron, moving through formal prayers, theological explanation, and invocations repeated until they become the structure of the hour. Other material follows the Church calendar closely. Good Friday brings sober attention to the Passion of the Lord and the entrance of Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican Basilica. Easter programming turns brighter, with Catholic music, Resurrection language, and greetings from listeners across places named in the broadcast. October episodes carry feast-day warmth, naming Santa Teresita del Nino Jesus, Angeles de la Guarda, Francisco de Asis, Nuestra Senora del Santo Rosario, Teresa de Avila, and San Juan Pablo II as part of the month's devotional landscape. The show is not sealed off from ordinary radio life. Sponsor reads, parish festivals, local Dallas-area announcements, tax services, Medicare notices, and donation appeals interrupt and surround the religious material. Those shifts can be sudden. They also reveal the program's function: it is catechesis, worship support, fundraising, local bulletin board, and musical companionship all at once. Douglas Archer appears in the music-oriented segments as "el arquero de Dios," speaking from Estudio 3 with a live-radio presence. Radiothon excerpts show volunteers receiving calls, sharing stories of people asking for prayer, and urging support for Guadalupe Radio. The tone is warm, but rarely casual in the usual podcast sense. It favors long devotional stretches, formal appeals, and communal language. Escuela de la Fe suits listeners who want Catholic formation inside the lived sound of Spanish-language ministry radio: rosary, doctrine, song, announcements, and requests for prayer held together by a steady sense of mission.
