Dorremifasoleando

Dorremifasoleando is a Spanish-language music program from Radio Iznájar, carried by the atmosphere of local radio and a strong belief in music as cultural memory. The pace is unhurried. Each selection is introduced with background: birthplaces, release years, film credits, chart history, group origins, versions, and the routes by which songs became familiar. The show does not stay inside one narrow lane. It moves from Manuel de Falla to ABBA, from Julio Iglesias to Pérez Prado, from Brazilian song to Cuban popular music, from French film music to Spanish rock and romantic ballads. A typical episode may begin with a civic or historical note, then settle into a sequence of songs whose biographies matter almost as much as their melodies. The program’s affection for the 60s, 70s, and 80s is especially clear. Spanish groups such as Los Diablos, Los Mustangs, Los Puntos, Santa Bárbara, Los Salvajes, Los Gritos, and Bravo appear as part of a broader story about pop, rock, translation, and memory. Romantic song is another recurring home ground. Episodes revisit ballads associated with artists such as Diango, José Luis Perales, Luis Miguel, Franco de Vita, Pablo Abraira, and Nino Bravo, placing the songs inside careers and eras rather than using them as simple nostalgia. Instrumentals also receive careful attention, whether through film themes, orchestras, jazz bandleaders, or pieces such as Aquarela do Brasil and El manisero. The editorial personality is plainspoken, formal, and generous with facts. It often sounds like a knowledgeable local presenter opening a record collection and explaining why each track still matters. Dorremifasoleando is best suited to listeners who like music accompanied by context, especially those drawn to Spanish-language radio, classic pop history, orchestral arrangements, romantic repertoire, and the long cultural life of memorable songs.
