5 Minuts +

5 Minuts + is a fast morning bulletin anchored in Olot and the surrounding counties. It begins close to the ground. Fog, temperatures, wind, rain, and early conditions are treated as part of the day's first facts, not as background color. From there, the program shifts into local reporting with little delay. A typical edition can move from flooded access points in Montagut to mountain rescue advice, from a village planning process to a dance festival in Ridaura, and from a table tennis draw to a running race organized by Club Natació Olot. The format is compact. Stories are introduced with just enough context to place them, then handed to a local voice or an attributed clip. After that, the bulletin resets and advances. The show is most distinctive when it stacks civic detail with names, places, and institutions that would be easy to miss in broader regional media. It makes room for town halls, neighborhood concerns, volunteer capacity, cultural organizers, club presidents, coaches, and athletes. Sports coverage is local and specific. Culture is treated as public life, whether the subject is microdance, contemporary classical performance, or a festival choosing a small village as its stage. The program also carries heavier items, including aid connected to Ukraine and reflections on the human cost of war. Even then, the tone stays measured. Sponsor messages and practical service copy appear frequently, which gives the feed the feel of live local radio preserved as a podcast. The result is not a personality-led conversation. It is a working regional notebook, briskly assembled and meant for people who want to know what is happening around Garrotxa before the day fully starts.
