He shares that he is married to a man he met on Tinder ten years ago and addresses the challenges of being an out gay actor in Hollywood, including once hiding his relationship for a role. The conversation touches on the scale of Wednesday's success and Doohan's surprise at its viral impact. He reveals his father was a professional tennis player who famously beat Boris Becker at Wimbledon, which influenced his own perseverance.
