Maserati West reveals he holds the record for the shortest elimination in Gauntlet for the Gold history.
The episode is a preview of AIW's Gauntlet for the Gold 16 event, hosted by Justin Sommers with guest Maserati West Barkley. West, returning to the podcast after a long hiatus, shares his personal stakes: he holds the record for shortest elimination in Gauntlet history and is motivated by his five-year wrestling anniversary to win and leapfrog the rankings for a title shot. The conversation covers multiple matches on the card. They discuss the Spin the Wheel match between Filthy Tom Lawler and Joshua Bishop, noting Lawler's versatility and Bishop's intense training. The Dominic Greeny vs. Scott Kaplan match is highlighted as a hard-hitting styles clash, with West recalling Kaplan's jerky business sideline. The AIW Tag Title match between Money Shot and Members Only is analyzed, with West mentioning Members Only's desire to bring belts back to the academy. West declares his intent to win Gauntlet and challenge Derrick Dillinger for the Intense Championship, referencing their past rivalry. The Matt Cardona vs. Hardway Holloway absolute title match is previewed, with West warning about Cardona's mind games and backup plans involving PME and Fonzie. The episode also notes meet-and-greets with Larry Sisca and Abdullah the Butcher, and West plugs upcoming AIW shows. The format is an interview with a relaxed, conversational tone, focusing on predictions and insider perspectives.

As heard by us

A loose AIW preview where a double-knockout hunch and a U-Haul memory sharpen the Dom-versus-Kaplan pick.

Wrestling Cheers frames AIW's Gauntlet for the Gold 16 as a talky, instinct-led preview, using Northeast Ohio independent wrestling as the ground under every prediction.
