Gina Kim admits she 'sucked' at compartmentalizing and took every failure personally on tour.
Ted starts the show without Cindy beside him. She has an appointment, he explains, and then he settles into the morning like a host who knows how to keep a golf conversation warm without overworking it. Gina Kim is up first, with Debbie Waitkus coming later. The setup is familiar Women of Golf: Epson, LPGA, and Legends Tour players all treated as part of the same push for women's golf. Then the six iron steals the segment. Gina talks about a club that had been annoying her for two weeks, mostly with thin shots and slices into the water. She talks straight to the club. With the pin in the middle of the green, she decides the ball is going right at it. This time it works. She catches the six iron clean, sends it flying, and gets about ten more yards than usual. Ted picks up the mental-game thread right away. Rhythm, comfort, and confidence are personal, he says in effect; every player finds them differently. That is where the episode gets its best golf-life moment. A bad club becomes a pressure test. One committed swing proves the trust is not gone, just waiting for the player to stop flinching. The conversation stays encouraging rather than technical. Ted uses the shot to ask how a second win changes her confidence and gives her more room for the season. Gina's goals are simple and big: get her LPGA card back, and win as much as she can. She knows that is a high bar, but she does not sound like she is apologizing for it. The close moves back to show business. Ted thanks the audience, Gina Kim, and Debbie Waitkus, mentions Debbie's Marilyn Smith conversation, and signs off with Cindy Miller still part of the room.
