Episode 544- Terrifier 3 (2024)

December 22, 2025·1 hr 6 min·1 clip
Art the clown's physical acting is phenomenal, but is this kill sequence a step too far?
Peacock ads get there first. Before Terrifier 3 even settles in, the hosts are already annoyed at streaming services that stack commercials onto paid platforms and then behave like they are doing everyone a favor. One host hates the movie. Katie says they liked the first two, especially the second one and its weird world building, which gives the argument a nice ugly edge. The grudge stays warm. The recap keeps measuring the film against that opening irritation, so every new beat has to crawl past a lot of frustration. Rob Reiner comes up too, which turns into a quick detour through Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride before the conversation snaps back to the movie and the weekend's general fuckery. Clint Howard gets a lot of love. The hosts point out his child-actor past and joke through his run of genre stuff, including a Twilight Zone episode, Ice Cream Man, and Evil Speak. The Santa bar bit lands. Two drunk ladies on Santa's lap, Santa acting offended, and Smoky make the whole thing one of the episode's cleaner laughs. Art then barges in. He fans out over Santa, spits booze in his face, and the show treats that as the movie finally stumbling into a joke that actually works. Christmas keeps piling up. The family scenes keep showing everyone baking, shopping, and Christmasing for days, and the hosts keep calling out how much seasonal noise the film throws at them. Maurice Jackson shows up. The conversation stops to sort out his ID, the worker Vicky killed, and the way the movie keeps making even simple details feel oddly tangled. Steve Arnett's eyebrows get their own detour. By the end, the whole thing is an angry, digressive Terrifier 3 conversation that keeps slipping from plot into ads, casting, and dumb little image jokes.
