The praying-mantis alien appears at the idol concert and starts sucking people’s H energy.

It starts already tilted. One host is sick, and the other is ready to blame him for recommending a manga they both keep calling sus. That bit carries the review for a while. They keep coming back to the idea that this is not just suggestive, but sealed-bookstore material, the kind of premise that makes everyone at the table sit back a little. The recap still has pace. They do not clean it up into a tidy review. They run through the setup, stop on the weird choices, and ask whether each gag has enough juice to keep going. Their patience drops when the chapter hides a reveal for too long. The secret gets mocked because everyone treats it like something massive, which makes it feel smaller. Then Dr. Joe Expert shows up. The name alone gets them riffing, since the news somehow needs a monster expert and ends up with a sweaty guy delivering Wikipedia-level exposition. They like the dumbness of it, then admit it still may not be good writing. The alien pitch is even sillier. Monsters are aliens who feed on sexy energy, want reproduction to collapse, and pick a long con instead of a direct fight. That gets some laughs, but it also wears them down. They can see the joke. The chapter just keeps pushing after the joke has gone soft. By the end, they are done. Connection problems, clear dislike, and the usual listener-and-Patreon sendoff close it out. The fun is in the friction: two readers catching each strange turn as it happens, not anyone calmly defending the manga.
