Vogue & Amber : 2025

December 30, 2025·37 min·3 clips
Spencer reveals he's being replaced on the podcast by his sister Amber Wilson.
It starts as a break. The episode is framed as a Christmas best bits reel, pulled from the year Amber spent recording with the family. Scarce, apparently. That joke tells you where this is going: Amber is loved, mocked, promoted, and treated like someone everyone can tease without warming up first. Spencer is being replaced, sort of. The handover sounds sweet and brutal at the same time, with promises of better chat, sharper gossip, and more interest in tabloid mess. Then the reel veers off. A quick question about the stupidest decision turns into Amber selling up, spending her savings, trying Australia, and coming back after four months. The room jumps on it immediately. She says it was only a holiday, while everyone else remembers bigger plans, confusion, and one grim early job that sounded much less glamorous than television was meant to be. Nobody gets to tidy the story up. Another Australia bit follows, this time with eighteen months away, barely any friends, and a Bondi beach walk that ends in tears and homesickness. Celebrity chat barges in next. Paris Fashion Week somehow leads to Charlize Theron looking unbelievable, Nicole Kidman being likened to a vampire, and Keith Urban breakup gossip. The facts wobble, which is half the fun, because half-remembered headlines get checked out loud while everyone interrupts the sentence already in progress. The ending softens for a moment. A reflection on being the only gay person in one generation of the family lands warmly, then gets folded straight into village-and-Hoth banter. Nothing stays polished. The reel works because the affection is obvious, the interruptions keep coming, and every serious beat gets nudged sideways before it can sit still.
