Schoolgirls who confessed to murdering friend (12) in Germany placed in care

·11 min·1 clip

Only 19 children under 14 were crime suspects in Germany in 2021, and just four of them were girls.

Victoria discusses the shocking case of two schoolgirls, aged 12 and 13, who confessed to murdering their 12-year-old friend Louise in a German forest. She explores the details of the crime, the girls' calculated cover-up, and the legal and moral dilemmas raised because Germany's age of criminal responsibility is 14, meaning they won't face prosecution.
