Starting Season 2 with a Steelers Loss - Great Omen or Greatest Omen?

The bit is petty, local, and a little too believable. From there, the conversation keeps moving at full tilt. The hosts jump into talk about Ric Flair making appearances and even joke about energy drinks with mushrooms in them, the hardest working man in show business, and wherever he was. Giant Eagle becomes the next stage. In their version, Ric gets asked to pick up a shift because the store is short-staffed. He shows up in a feather boa, an apron, and full Flair mode. The joke keeps stretching through stock boy, prepared foods, self-checkout, and a 70-year-old woman chasing Advantage Card points. It plays like a mock workplace documentary directed by someone who has had too much coffee. They keep pressing the idea until Ric is failing dress code in a sequin-coated, feather-trimmed, full-length bathrobe and spending his breaks in the olive oil section. That kind of escalation is the episode's engine. The sports talk never really leaves, though. The Steelers loss hangs over everything, and backup options get treated like a civic crisis. The hosts admit that people do not love the idea of Mitch or Mason Rudolph, and they sit in that discomfort instead of smoothing it over. The episode ends with hotline and email plugs, thanks to the studio and producer Ben Stonium, and a wish for better news next time. It feels like Pittsburgh sports talk with the volume turned up until the bit takes over the room.
