Toter's daughter in Ontario calls a friend in Regina because she has not heard from her father in about a year, and letters have gone unanswered. The friend contacts police, who return to the house, unlock the door, and immediately smell something awful. They move through the house and reach a door with rags stuffed under it and around the cracks. The episode stays focused on the odd cast of characters and the unsettling domestic details around the house. Kenton and Dylan keep reacting in real time, switching between skepticism, jokes, and confusion. By the end, they treat it as a weird, local crime story with an ugly answer and no clean closure.
