Vorstandswahl 2025 - Interview mit "Team Next Level FC"

·1 hr·5 clips

Team Next Level FC introduces themselves as the first of three teams running in 1. FC Köln's historic presidential election.

This episode of 'Trotzdem Hier' is a special interview format ahead of the 1. FC Köln presidential election. Hosts introduce the first approved candidate team, 'Team Next Level FC'. The three candidates—Wilke Stromann, Tuba Tekkal, and Carsten—each introduce themselves, detailing their personal connections to the club and professional backgrounds. The interview is structured around listener-submitted questions on pressing club issues. The first major topic is the hybrid member assembly; the team advocates for it to increase accessibility, citing examples like a student in Florence or a single mother. They address technical concerns from past virtual assemblies. The second topic is the problematic ticketing system; Carsten explains the supply-demand imbalance and suggests starting a fan dialogue, with ideas like a lottery system. The team takes a firm stance on investment, declaring '100 plus 0' member ownership and discussing the legal battle around the 50+1 rule. They outline their vision for the club in five years: sporting stability aiming for Europe, economic health, and becoming a socio-political 'lighthouse' for democracy. The discussion covers in-house marketing, the future of the Geißbockheim training ground, and the importance of its location. The candidates promote their website and 'Kölsch' meet-up events for direct member contact. The episode ends with light-hearted season predictions and a repeated call for members to attend the election assembly on September 27.
