The Pages She Left Behind: Tricia Todd

March 6, 2026·52 min·4 clips
Co-hosts Chantal and Ashley open with an enraged commentary on two Canadian criminal justice failures — a court ruling deeming sex offender registration unconstitutional and the unsupervised parole release of a convicted child murderer — before diving into the true crime case of Trisha Todd, an Air Force veteran and hospice nurse from Hobe Sound, Florida. Trisha disappeared in April 2016 after years of documented abuse at the hands of her ex-husband Stephen Williams, who had premeditated her murder, purchased acid and a chainsaw months in advance, and dismembered her body in a remote wildlife preserve called Hungryland. Stephen Williams was ultimately sentenced to 35 years in prison after a plea deal, despite the state attorney later describing it as 'making a deal with the devil.'

As heard by us

A heated, conversational missing-person case built around abuse, fear, and the cost of being heard too late.

This episode opens in a hot, angry register, jumping from a rant about a Hamilton, Ontario judge's ruling on Canada's sex offender registry into Tricia Todd's disappearance.
