Florida is not waved away. David Lake and Gabby Urrutia preview the matchup with real caution around the personnel, especially on defense. That group gets its due. Even so, the conversation keeps drifting back to Miami's offense as the side they trust more on Saturday. Vernell Brown is the swing piece. Austin Barber and Jake Slaughter anchor a big, long, veteran group that can protect the passer, with Damian George mentioned too. That changes the pressure point of the game. If Florida's best offensive unit holds up, Miami has to win more than receiver-versus-corner matchups. The hosts still lean Miami. Their read is that the Hurricanes can hit the weak spots in Florida's profile and let offensive efficiency take over.
