Desktop Clutter + Jo Koy @ SoFi Review (#526)

March 25, 2026·1 hr 1 min·5 clips
Joe Koy disguised himself as a Jabberwocky dancer before revealing himself to 70,000 people at SoFi Stadium.
The opener eats itself right away. A sound pack bit misfires, everyone piles onto Chris, and the intro turns into a fake safety seminar about knowing your limits. Nobody gets a clean exit. Gary apparently had an intro ready, Dawson gets told people are upset, and the room keeps pausing to figure out who is even talking. Then comes the desktop trial. A tiny complaint about clutter turns into a fight over Finder, dock size, and whether a bare screen is normal behavior. The dock takes the worst of it. Someone compares it to oversized texting font, which is exactly the kind of unnecessary visual insult this table enjoys. Command Space gets treated like doctrine. That pulls the room into Apple versus Dell territory, with Matt catching heat for sounding shaky around people who make tech commercials. Fake authority takes over from there. The panel starts passing around tech talks, invents a MacBook Neo lane, and lets the nonsense title become its own little corner. Gaming gets dragged in too. Baldur's Gate is still untouched, Helldiving gets admitted, and the phrase under control is received with the suspicion it deserves. Real life peeks in for a minute. A babysitter, a bar night, and whether Amy would agree keep the bit from drifting too far off the lot. The ending stays loose: Dawson's comedy spot, a mangled French food joke, movie club talk about Sicario, and Patreon housekeeping all bump into each other before the goodbye lands sideways. That is the fun here. Tiny tech habits turn into character evidence, and every attempt to tidy things up gives the panel something else to cross examine.

As heard by us

A messy panel hangout that turns a botched intro and desktop clutter into the main event.

Water Cooler opens by wrecking its own intro, and that botched start becomes the joke. A loose panel spends the rest of the episode poking at bad sound-pack choices, desktop clutter, dock bloat, Finder habits, and the possibility that every computer setup is a little…
