2026-03-29 Legal Right Pt.5 Offense Opened the Door "Live" with/ Bishop M.J. Reid

April 8, 2026·1 hr 20 min·5 clips
Bishop Reid argues you have no real victory until you can wash the feet of the person who betrayed you.
The service opens midstream. Reid names the room as tongue-talking, hand-laying, scripture-quoting Pentecostal ground, with enough humor to leave quiet people some room. He is teaching, but he is also poking. The first point is plain: if Jesus touched people and they came away leaping, jumping, and shouting, joy probably should not look frozen. The joke has teeth. Reid turns it on the people he calls theological sheriffs, the ones who police what everybody is supposed to believe. Then the room changes. The sermon moves from church behavior into the pressure around Jesus after his fame spread and people started chasing healing. Power becomes the problem. Reid says the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the rest cared less about prophecy than about keeping control. That is the charge. If the Messiah brings a new regime, the old gatekeepers might become ordinary nobodies, and that possibility makes them dangerous. Jesus threatens the system. Reid treats the wilderness feeding as a public sign of power, because a man who can feed multitudes could also sustain an army. The politics come into focus. Roman legions, hungry soldiers, and nervous rulers sit behind his reading of miracles as more than private blessings. Then Luke enters. Reid points to Jesus telling the twelve that the Son of Man would be handed over, mocked, mistreated, flogged, killed, and raised. They still missed it. The sermon keeps pressing on that strange gap between hearing clear words and understanding what they require. It ends with an invitation. Reid calls forward people who want to be filled with the Holy Ghost, moving the message from argument into response.
