Netflix Vol 4 ep 4 & 5 - Murder Center Stage and Mothman

·48 min·5 clips
The Stack Pack comes back after some time away and immediately starts talking over one another. They open on Volume 4, Episode 4, "Murder Center Stage." The murder lives in a theater world, which sends one host into theater-nerd mode and gets the rest of the room sniping almost immediately. The knot DNA becomes the big ugly little detail. It does not match Chuck. It does not match Chuck's brother either. That pushes the panel into suspect mode. Lighting techs get pulled into the mix. So do maintenance workers, because of course they do. A cigarette connection and a contact name in the victim's belongings keep the suspicion alive. One maintenance worker was fired soon after the murder, and he was never polygraphed. The crew does not let that pass. They keep circling back to the weirdness of the evidence itself. Skin cells inside the knots sound minor until they do not. Detectives from Ewing PD, and later campus police, reopened the case and went back through the evidence. That leaves the whole thing feeling unfinished in the best bad way. Then the show swings over to Mothman and lets the nonsense breathe. By the end, the room is already drifting toward snacks, lounges, and airport nonsense like they need a minute to recover.
