Cardi B – Am I The Drama’ review

September 24, 2025·29 min·2 clips
One host saw Pusha T perform in Detroit just days before the rapper played for the Pope at the Vatican.
The catch-up starts loose. One host spent the break on movies, Letterboxd, and a two-at-night pace that sounds fun until it starts sounding like a shift. Work is back, too. The wrist is healed, though everybody agrees the story would hit harder if boxing or some ridiculous training setup were involved. Then the album talk locks in. Offset lands in the okay-but-not-urgent pile, where a project can be fine and still sit untouched on Apple Music. Gunna gets cooked a little more. Nobody turns it into a grand case. It is more that dry friend-group dismissal where a few cool tracks still do not make the album feel necessary. The Wednesday-text test becomes the cleanest standard. If nobody is hitting the chat to ask when something drops, the hype has already answered. Boxing takes over next. Javante Tank Davis versus Jake Paul is treated as the kind of spectacle people may watch while admitting it sounds absurd. The size math bothers everyone: Tank against Jake's height and weight, plus the basic question of how the fight got sanctioned. They will probably tune in anyway. That is the joke. Boxing can look cooked, then Canelo versus Crawford reminds people why real names still pull a crowd. The end slides back home. An Android gets reduced to a palm pilot, iMessage silence gets called out, and the group chat cannot quite settle the Young M.A question. Nothing gets precious. It is rap talk, fight-night doubt, and friends keeping each other mildly accountable.

As heard by us

A loose, easygoing episode that moves from everyday updates into Offset, Gunna, and a few boxing detours.

The episode starts in a loose, conversational lane, moving from movies and time off to work, a healed wrist, and an Eclipse concert mention before settling into hip-hop talk.
