One Piece Chapter 1179 Review IMU FINALLY REVEALED 😱😱
·12 min·1 clip
Imu plans to visit Elbaf and confront Loki and Luffy in the latest One Piece chapter.
Jade opens by framing chapter 1179 as a continuation of the Elbaf arc, with Imu planning to visit the island and confront Luffy and Loki. The chapter's cover page shows Ace, Okama, and Yamato leading piglets on a hike, which Jade describes as a touching tribute to Ace's memory. The main story begins with the Five Elders alarmed by Imu's decision to go to Elbaf alone. Farolyn rebukes the Elders for their arrogance, affirming the security of the Holy Land. Meanwhile, York interrupts the meeting complaining about hunger, embodying the sin of gluttony. Farolyn reminds York of her responsibility as one of Dr. Veidtapunk's creations to revive the Mother Flame, then disconnects the call, leaving her to her mission. On the broader battlefield, Garland notes that Nika's appearance has thrown Marijua into chaos. The Elders debate whether to send an admiral to Elbaf instead of Imu, but Imu insists on going personally. On Elbaf, Garland brings Somers—apparently cut in half and restrained—while Goldberg reveals Somers' heart is made of seal. Zoro wonders if destroying it would kill Somers for good. By the owl library, Frankie finds Brook and Usopp unconscious from their fight with Gunko, who was possessed by Imu. Jinbei is searching for Chopper, while Sanji and Killahem are tied to a tree. Gunko begins cracking free of the ice that trapped her. Back with Luffy, he and Loki head to the school for food only to find it frozen, but Luffy presses on trying to help Usopp and Brook. Loki confirms Gunko is still alive in the ice and that Ragnar can thaw her free. Nami senses five pillars of black energy rising from Oro's castle, followed by an abyss circle overhead. Black energy erupts from the castle center, releasing a massive Conqueror's Haki blast that drops people to their knees. Imu crashes through the castle roof, atop the structure in full view, revealed as Nerona Imu—one of the First Twenty and founder of the World Government—possessing a demon-like devil fruit. Jade closes by expressing shock at the unexpected reveal and asks listeners to share their reactions.
