1. The MODUS Files Season 3 Episode 22, "Almost Heaven," follows Appalachian survivors after the blast and the collapse of the Savage Divide. 2. Valeria, still called Val or the Colonel, anchors the hour with a farewell letter from the Whitespring Bunker to Lilith. 3. Sergeant Muller, Day, and the refugees near the Ohio River sort food, medical care, and missing families while scanning the ruins. 4. Muller tells Day that the radiation on the far side of the river is "beyond lethal" and that the Johanni likely wandered off if the blast did not kill them. 5. Paladin Odessa Valdez reunites with Beth in the camp, and Beth cuts through the tension by saying, "We're together in this universe, too." 6. Ares jokes through the aftermath with Shadow and Sophia, then says he wants to study cryptids instead of just hunting them. 7. Ares names Red, Cherry, and Antlers as the reason he believes the Wasteland needs someone to figure out what cryptids want. 8. Commander Johns and Captain Thomas oversee a mixed camp of new responders, Meg's raiders, Brotherhood initiates, and Enclave soldiers. 9. Thomas reports that scouts found a few small settlements and asks for a day or two of rest before the group moves again. 10. Jason Baron brings Emily and Douglas a weak radio signal from Appalachia, and the line makes them wonder whether anyone survived. 11. Douglas finally hears Emily say "yes" after the Unstoppable's issue number 125 tease, and he starts thinking about the future. 12. Amanda and Cindy decide to leave the raider life behind, partner with Duchess, and rename the bar the Stein and Dine. 13. Sophia learns from Dr. Harefield that her nausea is pregnancy, which reframes Andrew Stein's loss as a future for her child. 14. The leaders around the radio identify Valeria's looping song and argue over whether the broadcast means she is alive or only repeating a last message. 15. Lilith refuses the suggestion that Val is gone, says she will not leave her sister alone, and walks out when the room hardens around her. 16. Shadow and Sophia help Lilith retune the vertibird radio, hear the Colonel's transmission, and realize the signal can be tracked only from closer range. 17. Sophia flies into the glowing fog with Lilith and Shadow while the engine warnings climb and the rad counter keeps ticking up. 18. Lilith opens the cargo hatch, steps onto the broken peak, waves once, and jumps into the fog. 19. Red, still grieving Shiny, listens to Ares talk about unfinished business and then finds a pristine deathclaw egg in her pack. 20. The closing image returns to Valeria in the fog, where pain, looping transmission, and distant propellers leave her still waiting for help.
