Rosenthal does an AOL Interview!

April 10, 2026·1 hr 48 min·10 clips
WWE Superstar Matt Cardona and TNA's Brian Myers tease their 400th live episode celebration.
Got some retros, baby. The opening runs through the usual Major roll call, with Brian Myers taking the wrestling-figure Scotty Pippen lane, Matt Cardona tweaking his WWE Superstar intro, and Smart Mark Sterling settling in as producer-lawyer. Then Ringside takes over. Cardona brings up new weekly purchases, and the room goes straight into preorders, limited pieces, and the collector math of what needs to be grabbed now. Big Shots become the main fight. There is a Matt Cardona figure, the Deathmatch King version is still sitting there too, and everyone treats that like news worth inspecting. Mark gets pulled into it. The Jade joke works because his managed-wrestler collection has apparently become its own running category, which is exactly the kind of tiny, weird lane this show loves. The likeness debate gets loose fast. One read says the Cardona Big Shots looks like Triple H. Another says it looks like Cardona. The middle ground is that both men are handsome enough for the confusion to make sense. No cast, still cool. The hosts talk through the hair, the face, and the backstage fresh fade like they are breaking down film. Size matters here. With three Big Shots options sitting on the table, the room lands on very simple collector logic: if there is a biggest one, you buy the biggest one. Then the feed swerves. Ringside Collectibles preorders pull the conversation into retros wave three, exclusive to Ringside for 2026 and onward. Contemporary talent gets dropped into the old-school format. Dirty Dominic Mysterio gets called out with a springer-style mechanism, and Rhea Ripley gets noted for a new upper body before the excerpt cuts off. The pace never gets tidy. It is plugs, figure variants, corrections, half-jokes, preorder pressure, and then a hard turn into Major Marks membership perks. That is the appeal. The sales copy is there, but the good stuff is the figure-room mess: on-card instincts, likeness nitpicks, and friends convincing each other to buy the large one.
