#537: Weekly 1

October 9, 2025·29 min·10 clips
She opens a three-part series called The Weekly. She says the series will walk through the process she has used for 20 years to help people change their lives. The formula is straightforward. She breaks it into three pieces: learning the tools of life coaching, repeating them until they are ingrained, and applying them to change the effect of your life. She says the commitment has to be weekly. She also says it has to last at least an hour. The point is consistency, not intensity. She tells listeners that thousands of clients have shown her what happens when the work is actually practiced through her podcast and through Self-Coaching Scholars and Get Coached. She remembers using audiobooks and listening to other people coach during some of the hardest stretches of her life. Those sessions changed her thinking. They changed her life too. She says the weekly rhythm keeps her sharp in her own coaching. She lays out two ways to participate. People can show up live every Wednesday, raise their hand, and possibly get coached in the moment. Or they can take the recording through a private podcast feed and listen whenever it fits their day. She makes room for both paths. For the diehards, she recommends doing both. The live call gives the information right away. The replay gives memorization and repetition. She says people can return to the same coaching sessions again and again. On harder days, they can listen to several recordings in a row if that helps them stay with the work. She closes by connecting the program to her life this year, including the business choices that make travel and freedom possible, and she points to the want match exercise as one of the tools she will teach inside the weekly.

As heard by us

A practical coaching setup for treating change as a weekly practice.

The episode presents The Weekly as a practical three-part coaching system: learn the tools, repeat them until they turn into habit, then use them to shift life patterns. Its appeal comes from its plainspoken tone rather than any big inspirational lift.
