LUQSW083 Bidetona 500 (With Each Mighty Flap)

·1 hr 9 min·5 clips

A strange metal-and-wood flying machine with twisting wings soars into view just as they locate the smoldering wreck of the Stonecaller.

The episode opens with the pirate radio hosts discussing news from Goo Town about baronies renegotiating argon harvesting deals with the Tabia Seddons, led by Master Olcott, which threatens the Seddons' reclusive lifestyle. The hosts decide to investigate, framing it as pirate journalism. The narrative then shifts to the adventuring party, who are tracking the creature known as the Sorrow. They return to the tavern where they received the quest, only to find it scorched and destroyed, with no signs of bodies. Their companion, Egg, helps track the scent of crystals and gunpowder. After a day of sailing, they find a landmass with a crashed ship, the Stonecaller, and see a strange flying machine with braided wooden wings and a polished metal body soar away. Investigating the wreck, they encounter the Entwined: three robed figures and a Woven Titan, a living tree with mechanical components. Combat ensues, with characters using abilities like Foe's summoned aberration, Lita's toilet armor transforming into the 'Bidettona 500', and Bokes' Steel Wind Strike. The party defeats the enemies, though Foe is knocked unconscious. They then discover the captain's body impaled on wall-mounted crystals, with a horn at her wrist. Darlou delivers a monologue vowing revenge and to return her horns home. The episode includes in-world commercials, host commentary on game mechanics like new D&D rules for artificers and sorcerers, and acknowledgments to supporters. It blends humor, action, and world-building, with recurring themes of investigation, combat tactics, and character development.
